Motion Capture Timelapse

Here's a timelapse video to display the development of our Journeyman motion capture session where we captured over 190 moves to distribute across eight teams.

I had the opportunity to direct a similar session which consisted of capturing 35 moves; this experience gave me a good insight to how a director should communicate with their actor with a technical approach.

The Making Of - Journeyman

This video takes you through the process of our large scale animation project where we worked as a team of 9 students to turn over 260 animations over the course of 12 weeks.

For the video itself, I was in charge of documentation and organising some interviews. I also ensured that the edits and general aesthetic was at a good quality after Max's draft.

Motion Capture -

Showreel

To the left is a video displaying every motion distributed to my allocated team for the Journeyman Project. They chose specific moves that they wanted within their game and we captured, cleaned and post-processed them before they were implemented into Unreal Engine 4.

We shot over 300 moves between us with an organised breakdown of Must Haves, Should Haves and Could Haves so that we could keep the project concise.
